2011 Smock Junior Program
Sign-ups begin April 1st
Smock Junior Program is home to over 200 juniors every year and this summer we are striving to have more fun and bring more Junior golfers into the game of golf than ever before.
Program Objectives:
- Have fun while learning the greatest game ever played.
- Transition junior student from instruction to playing the game. This program no only focuses on golf fundamentals but also stresses the importance of golf etiquette, emotional self-control, and adherence to the rules of golf.
- Assist junior golfers in their personal development. Golf, perhaps more than any other sport, teaches youth the process of developing self-confidence. Golf builds character.
- Help develop not only better golfer but also better people.
Lesson program includes:
- Group instruction in classes of (7:1 student to instructor ratio)
- 5 lessons (1 week sessions-2.5 hours each lesson
- Designer T-shirt and cap
- Free golf in the late evenings (7 days per week) with at least one parent or guardian caddying. For more details, ask our professional staff.
Instruction Eligibility
Our Junior Golf Program is offered to all junior golfers, ages 5 to 13. If your child is 14 or older, we suggest private or semi-private instruction just for them. Please contact our staff on how best to schedule their instruction at (317) 888-4863.

Fill out your registration and drop it off at Smock Golf Course’s main clubhouse Pro Shop.
Instruction Refund Policy
If a student withdraws 14 days prior to the first day of each session, the entry fee (minus $20 for T-shirt and cap) will be refunded. If a student withdraws less than 14 days prior to the first day of their session, that entry fee cannot be refunded. Alternates not placed will be refunded their entire fee. Alternates will not receive the T-shirt and cap until they are placed.
